Liquid Propulsion Return Policy
Thank you for shopping with Liquid Propulsion. We are committed to providing high-quality marine thruster systems and exceptional customer service. This Return Policy outlines the terms under which you may return products purchased from our website.
1. Return Eligibility (Standard Returns)
We accept returns of original, new, unused, and uninstalled products for up to 60 days from the date of delivery.
To qualify for a return, the product must meet all of the following conditions:
- Unused and never installed
- In new, pristine condition with no signs of use, wear, damage, or modification
- Original packaging intact, including all protective materials, foam, and seals
- All original accessories, manuals, cables, hardware, and components included
Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required for all returns.
2. Installed Products & Exceptions
Installed products are not eligible for return under this standard policy. This includes any thruster system, component, joystick, battery harness, or accessory that has been mounted, wired, connected, or otherwise installed on a vessel or equipment.
Exceptions (these may still qualify for return or remedy):
- Manufacturer’s defects or warranty claims — Products that arrive defective or fail due to a manufacturing issue may be eligible for repair, replacement, or refund even if installed. Please refer to our separate Warranty Policy for full details and claim instructions.
- Returns due to our error (wrong item shipped, damaged in transit, etc.) — We will cover return shipping costs in these cases.
Note: Buyer’s remorse or change of mind is only eligible for uninstalled, new-condition products within the 60-day window.
3. How to Initiate a Return

- Provide the following information:
- Order number
- Reason for return
- Photos of the product and packaging (if requested)
- We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return shipping instructions within 1–2 business days.
- Ship the product back using a trackable method with insurance. Clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the package.
4. Return Shipping & Inspection
- You are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a verified manufacturer’s defect.
- We strongly recommend using the original packaging and a reputable carrier.
- Once we receive your return, our team will inspect it within 5–7 business days.
- If the product does not meet our return criteria, we may refuse the return, issue a partial refund, or charge a reasonable restocking fee (not to exceed 15%). You will be notified by email.
5. Refunds
- Approved returns receive a full refund of the product purchase price.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable on standard returns.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–14 business days after we receive and approve the return.
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed.
6. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different product or configuration, please return the eligible item (if applicable) and place a new order.
7. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Any installed or used products (except warranty/defect cases)
- Customized or modified products
- Clearance or final-sale items (clearly marked at time of purchase)
- Products missing original packaging, accessories, or components
- Products returned after 60 days from delivery
8. Warranty Claims
Products that have been installed or fall outside the 60-day return window may still be covered under our Warranty Policy. Warranty claims are handled separately and may include repair, replacement, or prorated refund depending on the issue and time since purchase. Please contact us for warranty support.
